Ever since Shinhan Securities Vietnam (SSV)’s 2016 inception in Vietnam, SSV has continuously shown its ability to bring abundant capital to Vietnam through its global networks. With SSV’s knowledge on the investment appetite of global and foreign investors and their understanding of local corporate issuers, SSV has built a solid track record of issuances.

To recap 2021, SSV has coordinated the total funding of 2 trillion VND for variety of issuers in Vietnam.

As we move forward, we will continue to build on our trusted reputation for executing the arrangements for issuers and bringing high quality issuers to investors. 

In addition to our strong track record in investment banking business, SSV has recently received capital injection from our parent company, Shinhan Investment Corp. (SHIC) in South Korea, a leading securities group with a prestigious history dating back to 1973. (Our parent firm is rated A-, A3 by S&P and Moody’s respectively and manages total assets of 61.4 billion USD with total equity of 4.4 billion USD as of Q3.2021.) With SSV’s equity increasing to 87 million USD and the continuous support from its parent firm, SSV will continue to grow hand-in-hand with the rapid growth of capital market in Vietnam.
